January 1st	Año Nuevo - New Year’s Day. This is a day for family in Spain. Not many things will be open.
January 5th	Parade of the 3 kings through the streets. This day is more a cause for celebration than Christmas day in Spain.
January 6th	3 Reyes – 3 Kings. Epiphany.
4th – 21th March	Semana de Gastronomia - Gastronomy Week. A chance to taste typical dishes from Girona.
2nd -5th April	Semana Santa - Easter Week. On Easter Friday there’s a procession.
23rd April	Fiesta de Sant Jorge - Festival of St.George. Flowers and books in the streets.
1st May	Fiesta Del Trabajo - Labour Day
8th - 16th May	Girona, A Time For Flowers. Flower and art exhibition in the streets.
15th May	International Museums Day
21st June	Dia Internacional de Musica - International Music Day. Concerts throughout the town in various genres of music.
24th June	Sant Joan - Firefox night
June - July (dates not yet confirmed)	World Religious Music Festival. Famous musicians from all over the world come to Girona to play.
25 July	Feast of Sant Jaume
July - August	Escènit – Music, theatre shows and dance in the streets. Guided tours and dramatised tours. Also concerts and exhibitions in the museums.
15th August	Asumpcion - Assumption. This is a national holiday.
11th September	National Day of Catalonia
12th October	Columbus Day
1st November	Todos Santos - All Saint’s Day
29th Oct	Sant Narcis - Girona Fiesta of their Patron Saint, St Narcis. Partying in the street. Religious ceremonies.
6th December	Dia del Constitucion - Constitution Day
8th December	Dia del Concepcion Inmaculada - Day of the Immaculate Conception
25th December	Navidad - Christmas Day. A day for the family.
26th December	Boxing Day. A day for the family.
