This office is like a Citizen’s Advice Centre. It is of use if you are moving to Girona and want to know about legalities such as registering your presence, looking for work or how to open a bank account and so on. If you want to know more about Girona tourism then see the offices below.

The Street Of Rambla De La Llibertat Where You’ll Find The Tourist Information Office

Opening Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 to 20:00
Saturdays 8:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00
Sundays and public holidays 9:00 to 14:00
Closed on 25th and 26th December, 1st and 6th January.

This is the main Girona Tourist Information office. They possess hundreds of leaflets about attractions in the whole province of Girona. They have several maps and can talk you through where to find what you are looking for and mark it on the map for you.

They also have photocopied lists of bus timetables, car hire companies, apartment rentals, and estate agents.

They have booklets detailing golf courses, campsites, walking routes, cycling routes and suggested sight-seeing routes. You can also pick up free publications here in both English and Spanish. There are weekly and monthly papers and magazines with up to date information about what is happening in the town.

This office is easy to find as it is right next to the river at the foot of the hill where the old town sits.

They don’t make reservations but there is another tourist office that can do that for you. See below:

Opening Hours:
Sept. 16 - Jun. 30: Monday-Saturday 09:00-14:00 and 15:00-17:00;
Sunday and holidays: 09:00-14:00
Jul. 1-Sept. 15: daily 09:00-20:00
Closed: Dec. 25-26, Jan. 1, and Jan. 6.

This office will call and make booking for you for theatre, events, and group bookings for restaurants. It is very useful if you don’t speak Spanish as they can act as an organiser for you to plan lots of excursions during your stay.
