Even though the hotel is close to the airport, it is closest to the car parks and terminal buildings and not the runway. So, there is little noise from the planes. During the 3 hours I spent in and around the airport and the hotel, I didn't notice any incoming or outgoing planes.

You could walk from the airport in 5 minutes. If you were making the hop in a taxi or hire a car, it would only be a few seconds. You can clearly see the hotel from the airport.
