The Hotel Costabella is situated about 10 -15 mins bus ride from Girona centre and is one of the few hotels that has a swimming pool. This Girona hotel also has a nice sunny terrace area with view across the pool. Inside it is modern and fresh, with 2 comfortable lounges just off the reception area. One has a PC with internet and the other has a selection of books and a beautiful wooden carved chess set. This is a hotel with many nice touches to make you feel more at home.

The hotel offers room service, a safe in reception, fax and internet, laundry service, car rental in reception, parking, pets are allowed, restaurant (for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner), terrace around the pool and terrace with tables and parasols, lounge, café, courtesy coffee, outdoor pool (approx. 8m x 4m), sauna, Jacuzzi, gym and free bike hire.

Hotel has 2 conference rooms that can be used either separately or joined together. The rooms hold up to 90 people depending on the layout of the tables. The hotel can also provide audio-visual equipment, flip-charts and an overhead projector.

The rooms are well-lit with natural light and comfortably furnished.

There are 47 rooms and 2 junior suites that are larger than the standard rooms and have a seating area. Each room has air-conditioning, heating, satellite TV, radio, Wi-Fi internet, phone, video games, safe, minibar and en-suite bathroom with hairdryer.

Some rooms have a view over the pool and terrace. The back of the hotel looks out onto mature trees. There is also room service 24 Hours, and no-smoking rooms are available.

The Hotel Costabella is 20 minutes drive from the coast of the Costa Brava and 1km from the nearest golf course. If you turn right out of the hotel you can drive into the centre of Girona in 10 minutes.

Turning right from the hotel car park will bring you in 2 minutes drive to a supermarket. In the town centre you'll find more shops, banks and plenty of restaurants. The pedestrian street of Rambla de Llibertat that runs parallel to the river at the foot of the historic town has a whole line of restaurants. This is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

How To Travel From The Airport To The Hotel

Via Taxi: A taxi from Gerona airport to the Hotel Costabella Girona will take about 20 minutes.

Taxi Fare: €30.00

Via Bus: You can take a bus from Gerona airport to the bus station in Gerona. From there you will have to take a taxi for another 10 - 15 minutes. The bus from Gerona airport is the 'Barcelona Bus'.

Via Car: You can drive from Gerona airport to the Costabella Hotel in approximately 20 minutes. You follow the A7 motorway (sometimes also called AP7) and come off at the Girona-Norte exit (Exit 6). The hotel is on the main entry road into Girona, opposite the Josep Trueta Hospital and the GEiEG sports centre.
