In the summer in the city of Girona, you should be fine in t-shirts without a jacket. On the coast, the sea breeze makes the night air feel a little cooler, and so to be on the safe side, pack a lightweight jacket. During the day on the coast in summer, it is hot enough for beachwear.

In winter be prepared for temperatures as low as freezing although the norm is that a medium jacket with a light sweater should keep you warm enough.
